# Lopez Voice Assistant Settlement

Apple Inc. settled allegations that confidential or private communications were allegedly obtained by Apple and/or shared with third parties as a result of an unintended Siri activation. Apple Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement of Lopez v. Apple Inc., a class action brought on behalf of current or former owners or purchasers of Siri-enabled Apple devices. The claim filing deadline of July 2, 2025 has passed and the settlement website states initial claimant payments have now expired, but claimants can still request payment reissuance by submitting the form on the settlement website by September 3, 2026. The settlement website states the Settlement provides for a $95 million fund.
