# Bestway Spa Pump Settlement

Bestway settled allegations that it sold defective spa pumps that could cause fires, and that the recall remedy it offered was insufficient. Bestway denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement for people who bought a Bestway AirJet or HydroJet spa pump with certain model numbers between May 2021 and May 2024. The pumps were recalled in August 2024; the lawsuit says the recall remedy was not enough. Buyers can claim a cash payment.
