# Thinkware Dashcam Super Night Vision Settlement

Thinkware Systems USA, Inc. settled allegations that it misrepresented and falsely advertised that its Thinkware X700, F200PRO, DC-M2-FG-IR, DC-M2-FG, and F70PRO dashcams featured a “Super Night Vision” function, but failed to disclose that the function was only available in parking mode. Thinkware Systems USA, Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement of a class action over Thinkware X700, F200PRO, DC-M2-FG-IR, DC-M2-FG and F70PRO dashcams advertised with a “Super Night Vision” function that was allegedly only available in parking mode. Thinkware Systems USA has agreed to establish a Settlement Fund of $850,000 for people in the United States who bought one of these dashcams between January 25, 2019 and August 31, 2024. The Court still has to decide whether to approve the settlement at the Final Fairness Hearing on January 12, 2027.
