Eligible people can claim documented losses or a flat alternative cash payment, plus credit monitoring.

Who is eligible?

All individuals residing in the United States whose personally identifiable information was potentially compromised in the January 2025 ACCC data incident, including all those who received notice of the incident.

How do you get paid?

Category 1 — reimbursement of documented out-of-pocket losses up to $3,500, plus compensation for lost time (up to four hours at $20 per hour, maximum $80); or Category 2 — a one-time alternative cash payment of $45 with no proof required. All Class Members may also enroll in three years of CyEx Financial Shield Complete credit monitoring.

What proof do you need?

The $45 alternative cash payment requires no documentation. For documented losses, proof such as bank statements or receipts showing the expense resulted from the incident; lost-time claims require a brief description of the time spent.
