Who is eligible

All U.S. citizens who received a Notice of Data Breach letter from Central Valley Meat Company Inc. on or about December 30, 2024; California residents at the time of the incident form a subclass.

How you get paid

Reimbursement of documented out-of-pocket losses up to $5,000, plus a lost-time payment of up to two hours at $25 per hour (maximum $50), subject to a combined $5,000 cap on cash benefits. California subclass members may claim an additional one-time $75 statutory payment. All Class Members may also enroll in two years of CyEx Identity Defense Complete identity-theft protection and credit monitoring.

Proof required

Documented losses require proof such as bank statements or receipts showing the expense resulted from the incident; lost-time claims require a description of the time spent; the California statutory payment requires a sworn attestation of California residency.
