Lakeview Health Systems, L.L.C. settled allegations that it failed to adequately protect private information before a targeted cyberattack on its computer systems in January 2024. Lakeview Health Systems, L.L.C. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement over a targeted cyberattack on Lakeview Health Systems' computer systems in January 2024, in which files containing private information were accessed. If your information was compromised, you may claim a cash payment, reimbursement of documented losses, and credit monitoring.

How do you get paid?

Reimbursement of up to $2,000 for documented out-of-pocket expenses, up to $5,000 for documented identity-theft or fraud losses, and lost time at $20 per hour up to four hours ($80) — or, as an alternative, a one-time $50 cash payment. Class members may also enroll in one year of CyEx Medical Shield Total monitoring.
