Lucent Health Solutions, LLC settled allegations that an isolated October 2023 targeted cyberattack accessed files that may have contained personal information such as name, date of birth, and health, dental, and vision plan details. Lucent Health Solutions, LLC denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement over an isolated October 2023 targeted cyberattack on Lucent Health Solutions' computer systems, in which files containing private information may have been accessed. People sent notice may be able to claim cash payments or reimbursement of documented losses, plus medical identity monitoring.

Who is eligible?

All individuals whose Private Information was implicated in the October 2023 data incident, including everyone to whom the defendant sent an individual notification letter.

How do you get paid?

A one-time $80.00 Alternative Cash Payment (no proof required); or reimbursement of documented ordinary out-of-pocket expenses up to $550.00, documented extraordinary losses from fraud or identity theft up to $5,500.00, and lost time up to $125.00. All class members may also enroll in three years of CyEx Medical Shield Complete.

What proof do you need?

The Alternative Cash Payment requires no documentation. Reimbursement claims require proof such as receipts showing the expense resulted from the incident; self-made notes alone are not sufficient. Extraordinary-loss claims also require showing the loss was likely caused by the incident and mitigation was attempted.
