Oak View Group Data Breach Settlement

Oak View Group, LLC settled allegations that a November 2023 targeted cyberattack accessed files containing private information, including names, dates of birth, Social Security numbers, demographic information, and driver’s license or state or federal identification. Oak View Group, LLC denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

Who is eligible
All persons whose personally identifiable information was compromised as a result of the data incident discovered by Oak View Group, LLC in November 2023 and for which it provided notice on or about January 2024.
How you get paid
Reimbursement of up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses incurred between November 26, 2023 and August 15, 2026; or a one-time pro rata cash payment expected to be $150 for California residents and $50 for residents of all other states. All class members may also enroll in two years of CyEx Identity Defense Complete credit monitoring with $1 million in identity theft insurance.
Proof required
The out-of-pocket loss payment requires proof such as bank statements or receipts; self-made notes alone are not enough. The pro rata cash payment and credit monitoring require no documentation.
