ChemoCentryx, Inc. settled allegations that it and its former president and chief executive officer made material misrepresentations to investors about the ADVOCATE study, the Phase 3 clinical trial of its vasculitis drug avacopan, and about the company's communications with the FDA on the approval of avacopan. ChemoCentryx, Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A $69,000,000 settlement of a securities class action brought by investors who bought ChemoCentryx common stock between November 26, 2019 and May 6, 2021. People and entities who purchased or otherwise acquired ChemoCentryx common stock between November 26, 2019 and May 6, 2021, inclusive, and were damaged. Defendants, their officers and directors, and people who previously excluded themselves from the class are excluded.

How do you get paid?

A pro rata share of the $69,000,000 settlement fund, less Court-approved attorneys' fees, litigation expenses, taxes and administration costs. The official site states that at this time it is not possible to determine how much any individual class member may receive; the amount depends on your trades and on how many valid claims are filed.

What proof do you need?

A Claim Form with supporting documentation of your ChemoCentryx common stock transactions, submitted online or postmarked no later than October 1, 2026. The administrator does not hold your trading records, so brokerage statements or confirmations are needed. Shares held through an ERISA plan must not be included.
