Ciox Health, LLC d/b/a Datavant Group settled allegations that it failed to adequately protect personal information before a phishing email attack allowed unauthorized access to a company email account in May 2024. Ciox Health, LLC d/b/a Datavant Group denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement over a phishing attack that allegedly gave unauthorized access to a Datavant (Ciox Health) company email account between May 8 and May 9, 2024. If you were notified your information may have been affected, you may claim cash or reimbursement of documented losses.

The approximately 58,309 individuals who were notified their personal information may have been compromised in the May 2024 Datavant (Ciox Health) data security incident.

How do you get paid?

Either Cash Payment A — reimbursement of up to $5,000 for documented out-of-pocket losses and time — or Cash Payment B, an alternative pro rata cash payment. Either option can be combined with one year of expanded identity-theft and fraud monitoring.

What proof do you need?

Cash Payment A requires documentation of the claimed out-of-pocket losses. The alternative Cash Payment B and the credit-monitoring option require no proof. Filing uses the Settlement Class Member ID from the mailed notice.
