Serviceaide, Inc. settled allegations that a third party unlawfully accessed its computer systems and network between September 19, 2024, and November 5, 2024, potentially exposing the Private Information of current and former Catholic Health patients. Serviceaide, Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A $1,800,000 settlement over a data breach between September 19 and November 5, 2024, in which a third party accessed Serviceaide’s computer systems and network and may have exposed the Private Information of current and former Catholic Health patients. Eligible people may claim documented-loss reimbursement or an alternate cash payment.

All living U.S. residents whose Private Information was impacted in the Data Incident of September 19 – November 5, 2024, including all persons sent notice on or after May 9, 2025 (approximately 480,000 people).

How do you get paid?

Cash Payment A reimburses documented losses from fraud or identity theft up to $5,000, or Cash Payment B is a pro rata alternate cash payment of approximately $50.

What proof do you need?

Cash Payment A requires reasonable third-party documentation of losses (bank/credit-card statements, invoices, telephone records, receipts); Cash Payment B (Alternate Cash Payment) requires only a valid Claim Form. A deficient documented-loss claim is converted to the alternate cash payment.
