Subaru of America, Inc. settled allegations that the Pre-Collision Braking, Rear Automatic Braking, and Lane Keep Assist features of the EyeSight systems were defective or deficient. Subaru of America, Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement over the Pre-Collision Braking, Rear Automatic Braking and Lane Keep Assist features of Subaru's EyeSight systems in certain model year 2013–2022 vehicles. The claim filing deadline of September 27, 2025 has passed.

All persons and entities who purchased or leased a Settlement Class Vehicle in the continental United States — certain model year 2013–2022 Subaru vehicles distributed by Subaru of America.

How do you get paid?

The official site states that, effective on July 29, 2025, Subaru of America extended the New Vehicle Limited Warranties applicable to the Settlement Class Vehicles to cover 75% of the cost of a Covered Repair by an authorized Subaru retailer, and that eligible Settlement Class Members who qualify may also obtain reimbursement for past repairs.
