WaterStreet Company settled allegations in a case the official settlement website describes as follows: “On April 9, 2026, Plaintiffs filed a class action Complaint against WaterStreet in the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County, Florida, alleging negligence, breach of implied contract, and unjust enrichment, in relation to the Data Incident.” WaterStreet Company denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

On April 9, 2026, Plaintiffs filed a class action Complaint against WaterStreet in the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit in and for Broward County, Florida, alleging negligence, breach of implied contract, and unjust enrichment, in relation to the Data Incident. Eligible people may be able to claim reimbursement of documented losses up to $3,000.00, or a flat cash payment of $55.00. The deadline to file a claim is August 19, 2026.

Who is eligible

The Court has defined the Settlement Class this way: "All living individuals residing in the United States who were sent a notice of the Data Incident indicating their Private Information may have been impacted in the Data Incident."
