Emanate Health Medical Center settled allegations that it was responsible for the “Pixel Disclosure” and thereby violated the California Invasion of Privacy Act, the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act, the right to privacy under the California Constitution, and the rule against intrusion upon seclusion. Emanate Health Medical Center denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

After notice and administration costs, service awards and attorneys' fees and costs, the Net Settlement Fund is estimated at $433,709 and is divided among valid claims. The site states that each Class Member would receive approximately $11 if every Class Member claims, or approximately $55 if 20% claim.
