Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Inc. d/b/a Wayne Memorial Hospital settled allegations that it was negligent or otherwise responsible for failing to prevent the Data Incident discovered on or around June 3, 2024, in which certain files may have been accessed without authorization between approximately May 30, 2024 to June 3, 2024. Wayne Memorial Hospital Auxiliary, Inc. d/b/a Wayne Memorial Hospital denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A proposed settlement of Bates v. Wayne Memorial Hospital over a Data Incident discovered at Wayne Memorial Hospital on or around June 3, 2024, in which certain files may have been accessed without authorization. All Settlement Class Members may elect to file a Claim for Cash Payment A – Documented Losses and Cash Payment B – Alternate Cash. All Settlement Class Members can also enroll in Credit Monitoring: those who do nothing still receive a credit monitoring enrollment code, but no cash payment.
