Who is eligible?

Two settlement classes. AT&T 1: all living persons in the United States whose data elements — some combination of names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, dates of birth, account passcodes, billing account numbers and Social Security numbers — were included in the AT&T 1 Data Incident announced on March 30, 2024. AT&T 2: AT&T account owners or line or end users whose telephone numbers and related interaction data were involved in the AT&T 2 Data Incident announced on July 12, 2024.

How do you get paid?

AT&T 1 Settlement Class Members could claim a Documented Loss Cash Payment of up to $5,000 for losses that occurred in 2019 or later, or instead a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Cash Payment representing a pro rata share of the net settlement fund. AT&T 2 Settlement Class Members could claim a Documented Loss Cash Payment of up to $2,500, or a Tier 3 Cash Payment. The official site states that the amount available for cash payments is unknown at this time and depends on the total value of valid claims, administration costs and Court-awarded fees.

What proof do you need?

A Documented Loss Cash Payment required documentation showing the losses were fairly traceable to the data incident. A Tier Cash Payment required no documentation of loss.
