Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. settled allegations that a Data Incident that took place in the summer of 2025 resulted in the potential unauthorized access to or acquisition of Private Information of its current and former employees, including name, Social Security number, date of birth, driver’s license information, passport number, retirement account information and medical information. Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A settlement resolving a class action over a Data Incident at Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies U.S.A., Inc. in the summer of 2025, involving information of current and former employees. Settlement Class Members receive two years of credit monitoring and may claim either reimbursement of documented losses or a $50.00 alternative cash payment.

All individuals residing in the United States whose Private Information was impacted by the Data Incident affecting Fujifilm that Fujifilm discovered in approximately September 2025, including all those who received notice of the Data Incident.

How do you get paid?

Out-of-Pocket Losses: up to $2,500.00 per Settlement Class Member with reasonable documentation, subject to a pro rata adjustment; the Defendant’s total aggregate liability for Out-of-Pocket Losses shall not exceed $175,000.00. Alternative Cash Payment: instead of Out-of-Pocket Losses, an alternate cash payment in the amount of $50.00, without providing documentation. All Settlement Class Members also receive two years of free Credit Monitoring Services.

What proof do you need?

Out-of-Pocket Losses require reasonable documentation, such as telephone records, correspondence including emails, or receipts; personal certifications, declarations, or affidavits do not constitute reasonable documentation. The Alternative Cash Payment requires no documentation.
