Furniture Mart, USA, Inc. settled allegations that during the November 2024 targeted cyberattack on its computer systems, certain files that contained personal information, such as names, Social Security numbers, and dates of birth, were accessed. Furniture Mart, USA, Inc. denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

Class Members can claim credit monitoring and reimbursement of documented losses and lost time, or an alternative cash payment, by November 3, 2026.

Who is eligible?

All individuals residing in the United States whose Personal Information was potentially compromised in the Data Breach. FMUSA and its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers and directors, governmental entities, the attorneys and judges in the case, and anyone found guilty of causing the Data Breach are excluded, as are those who opt out.

How do you get paid?

All Class Members may enroll in three years of CyEx Identity Defense Complete credit monitoring and claim one or more cash payment options: reimbursement of documented out-of-pocket losses up to $4,500.00, and lost time of up to four hours at $25.00 per hour, for a maximum of $100.00. Instead of any other cash payment option, a Class Member may claim a one-time $75.00 cash payment.

What proof do you need?

Documented loss claims require proof, like bank statements or receipts, showing how much you spent or lost; notes or papers you made yourself are not enough on their own. Lost time claims require a brief description of how you spent the time. The $75.00 alternative cash payment requires no proof or explanation.
