Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s, London settled allegations that they engaged in a deceptive scheme to conceal an alleged lack of competition in the Lloyd’s Market, giving rise to claims for violation of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, civil conspiracy, and unjust enrichment. Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s, London denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

A partial class action settlement with certain, but not all, of the Lloyd’s Syndicates who are defendants in Lincoln Adventures, LLC, et al. vs. Those Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s, et al. The Settling Defendants are those Certain Underwriters at Lloyd’s, London who are members of Syndicates 727, 2791, 1003, 2003, and 2020. It concerns people and businesses who purchased insurance through certain syndicates at Lloyd’s London during the period of January 1, 1997, through April 15, 2025.

Who is eligible?

Persons and entities in the United States (including its territories) who, during the period January 1, 1997, through April 15, 2025, purchased or renewed a Contract of Insurance with any Lloyd’s Syndicate named as a Defendant in the Lawsuit. A Contract of Insurance is an insurance policy, not reinsurance.

How do you get paid?

Class Members who submit a valid Claim Form could get money from the Settlement. Payments are calculated based on the premium paid for policies, under the Plan of Allocation found in the Long Form Notice.

What proof do you need?

You must submit a valid Claim Form to get money or benefits from this Settlement. Claim Forms must be submitted online, or, if mailed, postmarked no later than October 30, 2026.
