Steel Warehouse Company, LLC settled allegations that during the January 2025 targeted cyberattack on its computer systems, certain files that contained private information, such as names, Social Security numbers, driver's license numbers, dates of birth and credit/debit card numbers, were accessed. Steel Warehouse Company, LLC denies any wrongdoing and the court made no finding of liability.

All individuals whose personal identifying information may have been compromised as a result of the Data Incident, as identified on the Class List. Steel Warehouse and its officers, directors, and related companies, the Judge and the Judge’s family and staff, and anyone who perpetrated the Data Incident are excluded.

How do you get paid?

Class Members can claim reimbursement of actual, documented out-of-pocket losses due to the Data Incident of up to $5,000.00 and lost time of up to three hours at $20.00 per hour, for a maximum of $60.00 — or, instead of any other payment, a one-time $40.00 alternative cash payment. All Class Members are also eligible to enroll in one year of CyEx Financial Shield Complete credit monitoring.
